About Burden Bearers
Purpose
The purpose of the Burden Bearers ministry is aid pastors in the MARBC financially when an unusual and/or emergency need arises. This ministry allows us to help, encourage, and demonstrate love to others.
Leadership
Burden Bearers is overseen by a member of the MARBC Council of Seven.
This Coordinator works with the MARBC Representative, Treasurer, and Council of Seven Chairman for the disbursement of aid.
Giving
Twice a year a letter is sent out to those who have requested to be on the mailing list. The suggested amount is $10, while some give more, some give what they are able. The funds are held in reserve by the MARBC Council of Seven in separate from the General Operating Fund to be distributed as needs arise.
